Wallet Basics

Helm uses Google sign-in for identity and a passkey for wallet control.

The passkey is used to create and control the wallet. Helm does not store private keys, seed phrases, or user funds.

Create a wallet

  1. Sign in with Google.
  2. Create a passkey for helmwallet.com.
  3. Helm creates your Tempo wallet from that passkey.
  4. Deposit funds with the QR address.

If a signed-in user has not created a wallet yet, Helm keeps them in onboarding. Wallet creation is required before entering the app.

Receive

Use the Deposit button to open your Tempo address and QR code.

Only send supported Tempo assets to this address while Helm is in the Tempo-first launch phase.

Send

Helm uses a dollar-first payment flow:

  1. Enter the amount.
  2. Choose or paste a recipient.
  3. Confirm the payment.

Helm picks a token from what you hold. You can change it before confirming.

Activity

Activity uses plain language for important wallet events:

  • payments you sent
  • funds you received
  • faster-payment changes
  • agent permission changes
  • agent requests and approvals

Raw hashes and addresses are available in details when needed.
